The World Health Organization (WHO) says the coronavirus can
spread in places where many people congregate, talk loudly, shout, and sing. If
you don't use the mask properly, the droplet particles that come out of the
respiratory system will spread easily.
For this reason, WHO recommends avoiding crowded places or crowds to prevent transmission of the virus. WHO also mentions places that have a high risk of transmission of COVID-19 as follows:
1. Restaurant
2. Place of worship
3. Workplace
4. Night club
5. Gym and fitness class
6. Choir practice site
In addition to airborne, WHO also stated that the Coronavirus
can spread through contaminated surfaces. Therefore, it is necessary to
maximize efforts to prevent COVID-19, namely complying with the protocol, washing
hands, wearing masks, diligently washing hands, always maintaining physical
distance, and avoiding crowded places.
On its official website, WHO emphasized that COVID-19 is not
a disease. The current preventive measures must continue to be carried out to
prevent the risk of transmission of COVID-19.
"If COVID-19 is in your environment, take precautions
starting from keeping your distance, wearing a mask, keeping the room
well-ventilated, avoiding crowds, washing your hands regularly, and covering
your mouth with your elbow or tissue when coughing," the WHO wrote on its
official website.
